Jeff Cobb

Jeff began working with Pinnacle in early 2007, he has enjoyed bringing his passion for exceptional wine to his on-premise and retail clientele in the St. Louis market.  He thrives off their excitement when he bring in something they haven't had or heard of before. Leveraging our boutique wine portfolio, he aims to be part of the equation for a successful and unique wine selection. When he is not in his accounts, you can find him researching and connecting with wineries that align with our book.  His career offers him the opportunity to travel extensively through France, Spain, Italy, and domestically to California, Oregon and Washington. Prior to Pinnacle, he built his reputation as a top sales representative for a local wine wholesaler. His previous experience also includes over a decade of restaurant bar management, bartending and wine retail. He has a Masters in Public Relations from Webster University and Bachelors in Advertising from University of Memphis.

Favorite wine to sell -  "I feel like there is no wrong answer to this question. If I had to pick one wine, it has got to be K Vintners MOTOR CITY KITTY.  It is the one wine in our book that I purchase from my allocations every vintage and I enjoy turning people onto it any chance I get.  It is a great "gateway" into Charles Smith's winemaking.  I feel privileged to have met Charles quite a few times and enjoyed wine in his cellar with the Pinnacle crew."

 

Favorite wine to drink -  "I am a self-proclaimed Zin guy.  I enjoy firing up the smoker and grill and nothing is better than grabbing a bottle of Carlisle Pagani Zin.  Mike Officer is a genius."
