Ryan brings a hospitality-driven approach to the KC sales team. With valuable stints at The Rieger, Tannin, and The Town Company, Ryan was able to develop a well-rounded service background. Just as importantly he has maintained strong ties to the KC restaurant/bar industry going back to his first bartending (beertending?) gig at The Flying Saucer in 2011. Other stops along the way include The Drum Room, The Belfry, and Sagebrush. 

 

In 2021 Ryan moved into retail management for Mike’s Wine & Spirits, gaining valuable experience and industry connections. This led to his start in distribution in 2022 where he was the sole representative of Vinoteca for Western Missouri, doubling the market presence during his tenure.

 

Ryan holds a degree in Mass Communications from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke and is also a Certified Cicerone. While not pushing wine & spirits you can find him playing soccer, watching the CHIEEEEEEFS, or planning the next trip to someplace warm.
