Tim Greco

Tim has spent more than two decades helping people discover great wine, but his path into the industry was anything but planned.

Fresh out of college in 2002, he took a part-time job at a St. Louis wine and spirits retailer while beginning what he assumed would be his career in industrial sales. It didn't take long to realize that technical journals and material specification sheets couldn't compete with the endlessly fascinating world of wine and spirits. Drawn in by the intersection of history, science, geography, agriculture, and culture, Tim traded one career for another and never looked back.

During eleven years in retail management, he built a reputation for making wine approachable through staff education, in-store tastings, and customer seminars. Rather than focusing on scores or prestige, Tim has always believed that the best bottle is the one that creates excitement, curiosity, and connection. He worked closely with his Pinnacle Imports sales consultant to showcase producers that consistently overdelivered quality and value, forming relationships with wineries and portfolios that would shape his career.

In 2013, Tim made the move into fine wine wholesale, spending the next thirteen years representing both national suppliers and highly specialized import portfolios throughout the St. Louis market. His experience on both sides of the industry gives him a unique perspective on the challenges his customers face, and he approaches every account as a long-term partnership built on trust, education, and service.

Joining Pinnacle Imports in 2026 feels less like starting over and more like coming home. Tim is excited to represent a portfolio he has admired for years and to continue helping restaurants, retailers, and wine lovers discover producers with authentic stories, exceptional craftsmanship, and remarkable value.
